Wallet & Withdrawal Policy

Effective Date: July 2026  ·  Last Updated: July 2026

1. Introduction

The Paycul Wallet enables users to securely fund their accounts, make eligible purchases, receive proceeds from completed sales, and withdraw available balances in accordance with this Policy.

This Wallet & Withdrawal Policy explains how wallet balances are managed, when funds become available, withdrawal eligibility, and the responsibilities of users when using Paycul's financial services.

This Policy forms part of Paycul's Terms of Service and should be read together with our Escrow Policy, KYC & Identity Verification Policy, Privacy Policy, and other applicable Platform policies.

2. Purpose of the Wallet

The Paycul Wallet is designed to:

  • Store funds deposited by users.
  • Pay for eligible purchases.
  • Receive proceeds from completed sales.
  • Hold funds pending escrow transactions.
  • Facilitate secure withdrawals.
  • Receive escrow funds returned following an accepted Return Request or dispute decision, where applicable.

The Wallet is intended solely for legitimate transactions conducted through Paycul.

3. Wallet Funding

Users may fund their Paycul Wallet using payment methods supported by the Platform.

Available funding methods may vary depending on:

  • Country of residence.
  • Currency.
  • Payment provider availability.
  • Regulatory requirements.
  • Platform updates.

Paycul may add, remove, or modify available funding methods at any time.

4. Wallet Balances

Your Wallet balance represents funds that are available for use on the Platform, subject to any applicable holds or restrictions.

Your Wallet may include:

  • Funded Balance.
  • Income Balance.
  • Funds held in escrow.
  • Pending deposits.
  • Pending withdrawals.
  • Promotional credits, where applicable.

These balances may be displayed separately within your account.

5. Funding Holds

Certain deposits may be temporarily held before becoming available.

A hold may occur for reasons including:

  • Payment verification.
  • Fraud prevention.
  • Banking delays.
  • Payment processor requirements.
  • Security reviews.

Paycul will make reasonable efforts to process eligible funds as quickly as practicable.

6. Using Wallet Funds

Available Wallet funds may be used to:

  • Purchase eligible products.
  • Fund escrow transactions.
  • Pay applicable marketplace fees where supported.
  • Purchase premium features or advertising services offered by Paycul.

Wallet funds may only be used in accordance with Paycul's policies.

7. Escrow Transactions

When a Buyer completes an eligible purchase using Wallet funds:

  • The purchase amount is deducted from the Buyer's available Funded balance.
  • The funds are placed into Paycul Escrow.
  • The Seller does not receive the funds immediately.
  • Escrow funds remain securely held until the transaction is completed in accordance with the Escrow Policy.

Funds held in escrow are not available for withdrawal by either party until the transaction is resolved.

This Policy applies to both marketplace purchases and eligible standalone escrow transactions created through Paycul's Escrow Link feature, unless otherwise stated.

8. Seller Earnings

When escrow funds are released following a successful transaction:

  • The Seller's earnings are credited to the Seller's Income Balance.
  • Applicable commissions and fees are deducted before the funds become available, where disclosed.
  • The credited amount in the income balance becomes the Seller's available balance, subject to any applicable holds, investigations, or legal requirements.

Sellers can view their earnings and transaction history from their Wallet dashboard.

9. Wallet Security

Users are responsible for protecting access to their Wallet.

Users should:

  • Use a strong password.
  • Enable available security features, such as two-factor authentication if offered.
  • Keep login credentials confidential.
