Our goal is to maintain a secure, trusted, and professional marketplace where Buyers and Sellers can confidently exchange digital products and services.
By accessing or using Paycul, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and all other applicable Platform policies.
Failure to comply with this Policy may result in warnings, listing removal, account restrictions, suspension, termination, or other enforcement actions.
2. Purpose of this Policy
This Policy is designed to:
- Protect Buyers and Sellers.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
- Safeguard the integrity of the Platform.
- Promote lawful and ethical conduct.
- Protect intellectual property rights.
- Maintain a respectful marketplace environment.
Every user shares responsibility for keeping Paycul safe and trustworthy.
3. Who Must Follow this Policy
This Policy applies to:
- Buyers.
- Sellers.
- Visitors.
- Affiliates.
- Referral participants.
- Advertisers.
- Premium members.
- Anyone accessing or using Paycul.
4. General Responsibilities
All users must:
- Comply with applicable laws.
- Use Paycul honestly and fairly.
- Provide accurate information.
- Respect the rights of other users.
- Cooperate during investigations.
- Follow all Paycul policies.
- Avoid conduct that harms the Platform or its users.
5. Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in activities that threaten the security, integrity, or operation of Paycul.
Examples include:
- Fraud.
- Identity theft.
- Account impersonation.
- Money laundering.
- Financing unlawful activities.
- Circumventing Paycul's escrow system.
- Manipulating transactions.
- Creating fake transactions.
- Artificially inflating sales.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions.
- Assisting others in violating Platform policies.
Attempting any prohibited activity is treated the same as successfully completing it.
6. Account Misuse
Users must not:
- Share account credentials with unauthorized persons.
- Sell or transfer Paycul accounts without approval.
- Access another user's account without authorization.
- Create accounts using false identities.
- Use automated methods to create accounts.
- Misrepresent personal or business information.
- Bypass identity verification requirements.
Each individual or business may maintain only the number of accounts expressly permitted by Paycul.
7. Marketplace Abuse
Users must not:
- Manipulate search rankings.
- Artificially inflate product popularity.
- Submit fake ratings or reviews.
- Encourage others to submit misleading reviews.
- Create fake Buyer or Seller accounts.
- Abuse promotional campaigns.
- Exploit pricing errors.
- Interfere with another user's listings or transactions.
Paycul reserves the right to remove manipulated content without notice.
8. Prohibited Content
Users may not upload, distribute, or sell content that:
- Is illegal.
- Is fraudulent.
- Infringes intellectual property rights.
- Contains malware or malicious code.
- Promotes violence or terrorism.
- Facilitates hacking or cybercrime.
- Encourages financial fraud.
- Contains deceptive or misleading information.
- Violates applicable laws or regulations.
Paycul may immediately remove prohibited content without prior notice.
9. Intellectual Property Violations
Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others.
You may not:
- Upload pirated software.
- Sell unauthorized copies of digital products.
- Use copyrighted material without permission.
- Infringe trademarks.
- Misrepresent ownership of digital assets.
Paycul may suspend listings while intellectual property complaints are investigated.
10. Platform Security
Users must not attempt to compromise the security of Paycul.
Examples include:
- Attempting unauthorized access.
- Circumventing authentication systems.
- Reverse engineering Platform security.
- Uploading malicious software.
- Launching denial-of-service attacks.
- Exploiting vulnerabilities.
- Interfering with Platform availability.
- Testing Platform security without authorization.
Users who discover a security vulnerability should report it responsibly to Paycul rather than attempting to exploit it.
11. Communication Standards
Users must communicate respectfully.
The following conduct is prohibited:
- Harassment.
- Threats.
- Hate speech.
- Discriminatory language.
- Abusive or offensive messages.
- Intimidation.
- Blackmail.
- Extortion.
- Spam.
Professional and respectful communication helps maintain a positive marketplace environment.
12. Off-Platform Transactions
To protect Buyers, Sellers, and the integrity of the marketplace, users must not intentionally bypass Paycul's escrow system.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Requesting payment outside Paycul.
- Accepting payment outside Paycul for transactions initiated on the Platform.
- Encouraging another user to complete a transaction outside Paycul.
- Sharing payment details for the purpose of avoiding Paycul's fees or escrow process.
- Creating listings that direct users to complete purchases elsewhere.
Transactions completed outside Paycul are not eligible for Buyer Protection, the Return Request process, or dispute resolution.
13. Payment and Wallet Abuse
Users must not misuse Paycul's payment or wallet features.
Examples of prohibited conduct include:
- Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods.
- Funding wallets with fraudulent proceeds.
- Attempting to manipulate payment systems.
- Initiating fraudulent chargebacks.
- Creating artificial transactions to move funds between accounts.
- Attempting to avoid applicable marketplace fees.
Paycul may suspend payments, freeze wallet activity where permitted by law, or take other enforcement actions while investigating suspected abuse.
14. Identity Verification Abuse
Where identity verification (KYC) is required, users must:
- Submit accurate information.
- Provide genuine identity documents.
- Cooperate with reasonable verification requests.
Users must not:
- Submit forged or altered documents.
- Use another person's identity.
- Attempt to bypass verification requirements.
- Create additional accounts after verification has been denied or restricted.
Providing false verification information may result in immediate suspension or permanent account termination.
15. Automated Access and Bots
Users may not use automated tools, bots, scripts, crawlers, or similar technologies to:
- Create accounts.
- Scrape marketplace data without authorization.
- Manipulate listings or search rankings.
- Interfere with Platform operations.
- Circumvent usage limits or security measures.
Reasonable automated access that has been expressly authorized by Paycul, such as through an official API where available, is permitted only in accordance with the applicable terms.
16. Reporting Violations
Users are encouraged to report suspected violations of this Policy.
Examples include:
- Fraudulent listings.
- Intellectual property infringement.
- Account impersonation.
- Scam attempts.
- Malicious software.
- Harassment or abusive behaviour.
- Other conduct that threatens the safety or integrity of the Platform.
Reports should be made honestly and in good faith. Knowingly submitting false or malicious reports may itself constitute a violation of this Policy.
17. Enforcement Actions
Where Paycul determines that a user has violated this Policy or any other applicable Platform policy, we may take one or more enforcement actions, including:
- Issuing a warning.
- Removing or restricting listings.
- Removing content.
- Restricting marketplace features.
- Suspending wallet functionality where appropriate.
- Delaying or withholding payouts where permitted by law.
- Temporarily suspending an account.
- Permanently terminating an account.
- Removing referral rewards or promotional benefits.
- Reporting unlawful conduct to relevant authorities where required by law.
The enforcement action taken will depend on the nature, severity, frequency, and impact of the violation.
18. Appeals
Users who believe an enforcement action was taken in error may submit an appeal through Paycul Support.
Appeals should include:
- A clear explanation of why the decision is believed to be incorrect.
- Any supporting evidence relevant to the matter.
- Any additional information requested by Paycul during the review.
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that the original decision will be changed.
Paycul will review appeals fairly and impartially.
19. Changes to this Acceptable Use Policy
Paycul may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect:
- Changes in applicable laws.
- Security improvements.
- New Platform features.
- Operational requirements.
- Emerging risks affecting the marketplace.
Where material changes are made, Paycul will provide notice through appropriate communication channels where required.
The "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this Policy indicates the latest revision.
